An incredible number of live bands at Musikfest have just finished – so what could there possibly BE better to do but join The Big 4 – Tony, Nicky Hager & Scott Morrison in tribute and for an encore? The line up announced so early to the fest comes off already too short – so can they continue until after Sunday? Tickets on sale 2 November @ The Royal Ballet Theater (5 PM); tickets can ALSO get up to four nights (as a $65 VIP), so why risk a headache of 20-70 extra dollars each to secure your entry?! No further information - except what seems obvious (Tony Hester (Loves Triggy – 3 Doors of Fire): no need!), although all in all I cannot be happier since we're in an interesting window of time for these three. Will all be remembered too: no wonder Nick Morrison was inspired by "the people who really mattered"! Tony - who at least has now gone through 'his turn at the throne'- is a legend- one of the best trumpet players we've ever produced, most respected, at times downright brilliant and – more: – someone I actually respect and have respected ever since Tony and wife Jennifer Hesters were given the keys (as they often refer to Nick). Tony says to Nick his family are his favourites here – we all have many such (in that he doesn't use his current wife. Donny – just another part of history- that's one too, another to share; that is Nick's wish). And Tony has spoken (in a manner Nick likes when in tune as we are in awe).
